Green Historical Society Websites
The Green Historical Society will set up a student website account for you to use to store and/or post your work. You may use the site personally to track your work and materials or you may decide to post all or some of your work - now or later. The accounts available are Weebly accounts, which is the same type of web account used by the National History Day competition. The online interface is very easy to use. You may use this account to organize and store your information regardless of the format of your presentation – ie you may use a web account to store your research but may ultimately decide to make a tri-board exhibit. You may also use a website to organize and present a documentary. If you are interested in an account, please email Staci at webadmin@greenhistoricalsociety.com.
After you request a site, you will receive emails with a username, password, and link to follow to log into your new account. Brief instructions for creating your basic website for the scholarship project will be included. Instructions for using the software are available at http://help.weebly.com/beginners-guide.html.
